Project Name: Biaxial Tissue Stretching Device

Group Members: Krista Vedvik, Christopher Zarins, and Joshua Leibowitz
Current status of project:
We have several alternative designs for drive mechanism, superstructure and membrane type. For each, we have made Pugh charts and begun drafting CAD renditions of these alternate designs. We have performed finite element analysis for two alternative membrane fixations.
Work completed in the last week:
· Finite element analysis for suture and clamp fixation mechanisms
· Development of cam drive and parallel linkage designs
· CAD renditions of several alternate designs
· Pugh charts and combination tables of design alternatives
Work planned for next week:
· Finish finite element analysis and determine constraints for uniform region
· Finish CAD diagrams
· Select final design based on Pugh charts
· Draft progress report
